UDE FREE ZONE will foster entrepreneurship mentality and facilitate knowledge transfer among UD members, UD academics and local businesses. UDE FREE ZONE will spur the creation of new innovative startups and support engagement, awareness, inspiration in both the staff and student communities and in the local supply chain and business ecosystem. Towards this purpose, UDE FREE ZONE aims to:

  • Motivate and train our students and academic staff to develop research and entrepreneurship skills for driving future innovation through numerous events.
  • Encourage the creation of new startups and support incubation and growth for the created businesses.

is a Commercial and Research arm of the University of Dubai (UD)

where faculty, students and researchers continuously challenge the boundaries of knowledge, create state of the art research and technologies and generate income and develop business opportunities. According to Article 6 of the 50-year Charter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashed Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of the Emirate of Dubai, University of Dubai Enterprise free zone aims to:

  • Allow students to carry out business and creative activities, as part of their education and graduation system.
  • Support students with education, research and funding during the launch of their projects.
